Top England Coaches, Lancaster and McClaren, deliver master-class at Leaders in Performance as conference sells out

Current England Rugby National Team Coach Stuart Lancaster and former Head Coach of England Football and now Head Coach FC Twente, Steve McClaren, are the latest speakers for the Leaders in Performance section of the Leaders Sport Summit 2012 as the event completely sells out.

Lancaster was appointed England Rugby Head Coach after the 2011 Rugby World Cup and has since guided the team back to winning ways and a second place in the RBS 6 Nations. He has been awarded a Doctorate in Sport for his significant contribution to the field of sport and coaching and is a highly respected figure in the game. He will be addressing leadership and culture in modern professional sport in a keynote speech.

Steve McClaren is the current manager of the Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente and former Head Coach of the England National team. His managerial career began at Middlesbrough in the Premier League, where he won the League Cup in 2004 and reached the final of the 2006 UEFA Cup. He then took over as England manager from August 2006 to December 2007 before moving to FC Twente where he guied them to the Dutch national championship in 2009-2010, the first in the club’s history. Since then he has managed in the German Bundesliga with VfL Wolfsburg and after a short spell as manager of Nottingham Forest, he returned to FC Twente in January 2012.

McClaren will join World Champion Cricket Head Coach for South Africa, Gary Kirsten on an exclusive panel, where attendees can understand the techniques used for managing pressure, delivering on the day, preparation and gaining that competitive advantage
