Nick Broad, Head of Performance at Paris St. Germain is lining up alongside Sherylle Calder, the founder of EyeGym and Dr. John Heiss, Director of Sport & Fitness Products at Herbalife, for a world-exclusive examination of science and innovation within performance for a specially selected audience of 350 top coaches at Leaders in Performance, Chelsea FC, 10 & 11th October 2012.
Dr. Sherylle Calder, a Visual Skills and Performance Specialist, has coached some of the biggest athletes and teams including the All Blacks and, more recently, Ernie Els who went through her visual eye programme earlier this year and went on to won the Open Championship.
Nick left Chelsea FC to go to Paris after Manager Carlo Ancelotti insisted on bringing him as the Head of Performance for the newly developed football infrastructure at the Paris club. Nick has an extremely impressive CV, having worked to illustrious clubs such as Manchester City, Blackburn Rovers and as mentioned Champions League winners Chelsea FC.
Before joining Herbalife, Heiss was the founder of an endurance sports nutritional company. He earned a Ph.D. from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in biological chemistry, where he discovered how single proteins function within cells. The findings from his research work have been published in several peerreviewed journals.
